Haagen Painting originated in 1945 with Harry's father. His interest in the painting industry began during World War II when he was in the Navy. He was thrown over the side of the boat on a Bozeman's chair to paint the exterior of the boat. From that point on he knew what he wanted to do when the war was over. Harry joined the business when he graduated from high school. Father and son worked side by side until Harry's dad retired at 71. Harry began running the business several years after graduation in 1987 at which time we expanded into wallpapering and then faux finishing when it hit the scene. We could then provide our customers with all the possibilities of interior and exterior work. Below you will find pictures of our wonderful boys, who motivate us to strive for perfection. On an interesting note, the boy in the middle was the young man struck by lightening. We feel so lucky that he was able to tell about it. Call us today for a free estimate!
